This family of three generations rented a beach house on Folly for the week, and I met with them at White Point Gardens to capture some family portraits—loved witnessing the fun interaction between them all!
These two were just married a week ago, so are on a sort of 2nd mini honeymoon… with all the family along, of course!
This couple is expecting a new arrival in the next several weeks, which makes for two very excited “big” brothers!

This week has been a bit challenging weather-wise! Being a holiday week, there are a lot of folks on vacation here in Charleston and I’ve had 9 portrait sessions and a wedding… with the near constant rain, it hasn’t been easy! But, every session has been able to happen (and there were only about four when we got rained on!) The morning of this session, I woke to bright sunshine for the first time all week… and it was HOT! But, the sunshine and lack of rain was very welcome.
Amanda is a former coworker of mine and it was wonderful to see her again and meet the rest of her family! I loved all of little David’s facial expressions – what a great personality!

This session very nearly got rained out completely, but we managed to get some great portraits before the monsoon started! Thanks to this beautiful family for not letting a few raindrops hold you back… we worked fast and captured some wonderful moments! Hopefully next time the weather won’t be quite so threatening 🙂
