Congrats, Hana

It’s graduation time! I don’t usually have the pleasure of working with graduates (other than senior portrait sessions), but this year I’ve got a few graduation or post-graduation sessions, and I’m loving it! So much excitement in the air.

Hana graduated from a PhD program at the University of Hawaii at Manoa last week and is enjoying one last week on the island with visiting family before returning home to Saudi Arabia to begin writing the pages of her future. Beautiful, vibrant, and full of life, I have no doubt that she will be successful in whatever path she takes.

Ian & Sara

Another session at beautiful Waialae Beach… I really love this location! And this couple was pretty great, too 🙂 Sara and Ian were married at the top of Diamondhead a couple of years ago shortly after moving to Oahu, but didn’t have any photos taken. Now, about to move to Colorado, they wanted to capture some portraits to commemorate their three years of island life.

the Waite Family

With 6 kids, 6 spouses, and heaps of laughter, this family reminded me of my own and working with them was a whole lot of fun! We met at Waimea Bay Beach Park on this gorgeous, sunny Oahu morning to capture some portraits at the start of their family vacation… it was the first time the whole family has been together in over 13 years, so needless to say, this was one happy mama! What a great Mother’s Day gift.
